In the last 12 months, Mr. Blackman has defended clients charged with DUI, reckless driving, drug use and possession, parole violations, sexual assault, domestic violence, child abuse, assault and battery, burglary, robbery, theft, kidnapping, false imprisonment, and attempted murder.

He has appeared in San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Alameda county courts, as well as in federal courts. He has also represented juvenile clients in court and in school district disciplinary proceedings.
